After 19 months, I decided to have the bracelet brushed. After seeing the DeepSeas and AirKings with a fully brushed oyster bracelet, I knew that the bracelet on my GMT-C should be brushed. Since taking ownership of the GMT-C, as well as when I owned a Turn-O-Graph, I was always somewhat schizophrenic on the polished center link.
The bracelet came out fantastic. I predict that when there is a mad-dash to take ownership of the new all -stainless Submariners, many will have the polished center link brushed. A brushed bracelet matches the satin finish on the watch head, fits Rolex’s pedigree and history, and frankly, I think Rolex got it wrong when they included polished center links in the specifications. Brushed links understates the appearance of the watch, but improves the stout sport appearance that is part of Rolex’s provenance.

It was February 26th, 2002 whixh is almost exactly 7 years ago.
Boy I was proud because of that wonderful picture 
So in the past 7 years I practised with some 55.000 watch shots.
The model is still the same but older. It now has tritium instead of SL.
The bracelet is a little more comfortable and the picture a lttle more brilliant 
Then it was Sony, now it is Canon.
But it磗 still a great watch
